Can’t Connect Your Instagram Account?
If you are having trouble connecting your account to our dashboard, please follow the steps below to clear your history and successfully connect your account. Sometimes, it may take a few attempts, but we always get our clients connected eventually.
If you have two-factor authentication (2FA) turned on via the Instagram app, sometimes you must confirm a login attempt on your smartphone and enter a 6-digit code.
To see if you enabled 2FA, check out this article from Instagram.
Basic Troubleshooting Guide
- Ensure that you are logged into your Instagram account on your smartphone.
- Upon adding your account, you may encounter a prompt on the IG app that states, "We have detected a new login." Select the option "This was me."
- Verify that your Instagram account's email and phone numbers are current and accurate.
- Review your SPAM and SOCIAL folders, as the verification code may occasionally end there, particularly for Gmail users.
- If you can't set up a connection, please refresh your browser. You can also fix the issue by clearing your browser cache and cookies and then retrying.
- If you still encounter difficulties, please wait 15-30 minutes before attempting again. Our success rate in establishing account connections stands at 100%.
- If you have followed the steps above and continue to experience issues, consider disabling two-factor authentication (2FA) within your Instagram settings.
Confirm Login From Trusted Device
Please try the third option, "Confirm Login From Trusted Device." On your first try, Instagram will ask you to confirm your login to the mobile app; once you confirm, your account will be logged in to your dashboard on the second try.
Disconnection Issues
If you are having frequent disconnection issues and cannot maintain simultaneous active sessions, it is best to deactivate your location services for Instagram by using your phone settings.
Username Not Found
If you ever encounter an error saying your username cannot be found on Instagram, don't worry! It's a simple fix. You can go ahead and change your password using the Instagram application. Once you've done that, you can try adding your Instagram account again, which will be added successfully.
